UI awarding 655 degrees at fall commencement

Graduating students are eligible to receive a combined 655 degrees in December at the University of Idaho fall commencement ceremony. Candidates applied for 476 baccalaureate degrees, 129 master’s degrees, 29 doctoral degrees, 11 law degrees and 10 specialist degrees.

Approximately 634 UI students statewide are eligible for graduation from the University of Idaho this semester, earning a total of 655 degrees. This fall’s commencement brings the university’s all-time totals to 116,101 graduates and 124,293 degrees.

The fall commencement ceremony will take place at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, in the ASUI-Kibbie Activity Center.

Lineup for commencement begins at 11:30 a.m. Doors open for the public at 11 a.m. General seating in the Kibbie Dome is free and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

No tickets are required. Reserved club seating and 12-person suites are available through the UI Ticket Office, call 208-885-7212 or email tickets@uidaho.edu. For guests with disabilities, please contact University Support Services at 208-885-7353 prior to the ceremony for accommodations.

The president’s office will host a reception immediately following the ceremony. Degree candidates, their families and friends, and faculty are all invited to come together on the main floor of the ASUI-Kibbie Activity Center. Light refreshments and photo opportunities will be provided.
