SANDPOINT — The Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce welcomed Vacasa as the business celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, Nov. 11.

Vacasa is a fast-growing technology-enabled vacation rental company that uses proprietary technology to optimize revenue for homeowners and provides a seamless experience for vacationers. Vacasa was founded in 2009 in Portland, Ore., and now manages over 4,100 vacation homes in 15 U.S. states and six countries.

The local Vacasa office services over 20 homeowners in the Sandpoint region.

“We are very excited to keep growing and serving the Sandpoint/Coeur d’Alene region, including Bottle Bay, Dover Bay, Garfield Bay, Bayview, Sagle, Hope, and Schweitzer Mountain,” said Vacasa business development manager Terry Nash.

Vacasa provides full-service vacation management for homeowners, handling their marketing, housekeeping and maintenance and provide that same quality service to the guests that book with them, Nash said.

“Our goal is to provide economic stability to our homeowners and our employees by offering competitive wages, comprehensive benefits to full-time employees, and plenty of opportunities for career advancement,” he said.

Vacasa gives back to the communities it serves by sponsoring local events, funding scholarships, and actively supporting nonprofits. They just donated a two-night stay at the Oceanside Inn on the Oregon Coast to benefit the Sandpoint Teen Center. The stay will be used as a raffle item for an upcoming fundraiser.

They are currently running a special for 25 percent off when a house is booked within a week of the stay.

Please help the Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce in congratulating Vacasa and thanking them for its commitment and service to the community.
