—Courtesy photo Hayley Thompson was on one of the three Sandpoint Monarchs Special Olympics teams competing in Bocce at a 10-team Unified tournament in Lewiston recently. Sandpoint’s teams were made up of: Haley Thompson, Hanna Thompson, Barb Thompson and Emily Merwin of the Rollin’ Rockettes, who placed 3rd in their division; Chelsea Dennis, Caitlin Bayles, James Bayles and Ginger Case of the Bocce Belles, who placed 4th in their division; and Bob Leichtman, Doug Tipton, John Painter and Chris Painter of the Bocce Bandits, who placed 4th in their division.
