A child playing with the phone in the 300 block of S. Florence Avenue dialed 911 at 8:21 a.m.

A vehicle hit a pole in the 200 block of N. Fourth Avenue at 9:50 a.m.; no injuries were reported.

After it was determined a 911 hang-up call originated in Ponderay; the call was transferred at 9:56 a.m.

Damage to a vehicle’s windshield was reported in the 200 block of Pine Street at 10:23 a.m.

Threats via Facebook were reported in the 1500 block of Main Street at 11:38 a.m.

A used syringe was collected in the 400 block of Fifth Avenue for disposal at 12:22 p.m.

A found baggy of meth was brought to the police department in the 1100 block of Lake Street at 5:25 p.m. to be destroyed.

Kevin W Hill, 21, of Sandpoint, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence after a two-vehicle, non-injury collision occurred in the 500 block of Cedar Street at 6:13 p.m.

A 911 pocket dial was reported in the area of Alder Street and N. Third Avenue at 7:14 p.m.

Officers advised they were unable to locate the source of the smell of marijuana emanating from the 1300 block of Huckleberry Avenue at 7:44 p.m.

Anthony W Strader, 31, of Sandpoint, was cited in the Fir Street area on a charge of failure to purchase an Idaho driver’s license at 10:13 p.m.

Sean E Kidd, 36, of Sandpoint, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence in the area of W. Lake Street and S. Fourth Avenue at 11:25 p.m.

Jesse T. Sumpter, 23, of Sandpoint was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant in the 4000 block of North Boyer Road at 11:56 p.m.

Possible theft of a cell phone from the 1100 block of N. Division Avenue was reported at 11:39 p.m.

Officers advised they were unable to complete a welfare check request in the 1500 block of Pine Street at 2:01 a.m.; the apartment number given did not exist.

Robert W. Evans, 38, of Mill Valley, Calif., was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence in the area of Third and Oak at 2:26 a.m.

Brock G Wahlin, 27, of Sandpoint, was arrested in the area of Fourth and Alder at 2:46 a.m. on a charge of driving under the influence (excessive).

An officer contacted a male hanging around a business in the 200 block of S. Division Avenue at 3:24 a.m.; he was released
