Deputies and Idaho Fish & Game officers responded to a report of three deer shot in the area of Peninsula Road in Hope at 12:16 p.m.

Aaron L Martin, 36, of Priest River was arrested on a charge of battery in the 476900 block of Highway 95 at 1:40 p.m.

Following a vehicle-versus-bicycle accident in the area of Fourth Avenue and Oak Street at 11:23 a.m., officers advised minor injuries were reported.
A report of sex offense in the city was placed under investigation at 12:06 p.m.
A K9 officer assisted the county on a traffic stop in the area of Highway 2 and Northview Drive at 11:53 p.m.
An officer checked on an elderly female in the Pine Street area after a 911 disconnect at 1:17 p.m. and advised she was fine.
An officer checked on a resident in the 1100 block of Elm Street after he accidentally disconnected from 911 at 3:05 p.m.; he was calling about moose in the area.
An officer was unable to locate any dogs at large in the area of Highway 2 and S. Boyer Avenue after a complaint at 3:49 p.m.
An officer assisted EMS personnel with a male having medical issues in the 1300 block of Highway 2 at 3:59 p.m.
An officer addressed a citizen’s concerns in the 600 block of S. Division Avenue at 4:15 p.m.
Possible harassment was reported in the 600 block of Larch Street at 4:11 p.m.
An officer was unable to locate anyone sitting alongside the roadway in the 4200 block of N. Boyer Road after a welfare check request at 5:59 p.m.
A backpack was reported taken from a parking lot in the 400 block of Cedar Street at 6:42 p.m. after it had inadvertently been left behind.
An officer was unable to locate an intoxicated male reported in the roadway in the area of Second Avenue and Church Street at 8:14 p.m.
Unwanted text messages were reported in the 600 block of Washington Avenue at 9:04 p.m. The male suspect was advised to cease contact at 9:23 p.m.
Report of a 911 hang-up on Hickory Street at 8:05 p.m.
An officer was unable to locate the source of a 911 hang-up call in the Hickory Street area at 8:05 p.m.
Oct. 10
An officer checked a residence in the 800 block of Cedar Street after a 911 hang-up call at 1:12 a.m.; no problems were noted.
Law enforcement assisted BGH with a mental hold on N. Third Avenue at 1:07 a.m.
Cameron M. Boward, 22, of Sandpoint, was arrested on a charge of driving without privileges in the area of Cedar Street and Forest Avenue at 2:33 a.m.
