There is a lot of controversy and many questions surrounding Sheriff Daryl Wheeler over the past several months. Listening to several people directly linked to the Bonner County Sheriff’s Office, has confirmed my belief that there needs to be a change in command.

I endorse and stand behind “write in” candidate Terry Ford for Sheriff of Bonner County. Terry will bring integrity back to the sheriff’s office along with cohesiveness among its officers. Terry will also address the drug issues that have infiltrated our community. I, for one, would also like to see a stronger neighborhood patrol presence and budget accountability.

I want to remind everyone to fill in the oval on your ballot, and write “Terry Ford” on the line. That’s the only way your vote will count.
