This is not about the Lake Pend Oreille School District levy but a short note of thanks to whoever authorized the repair of the bumps on the bypass with those yellow signs that read “bump” and had the signs removed. Also fixing the water over the road when it rains or snows on Superior going on to the Long Bridge and removing that yellow sign that read “water over road.”

Now how about doing something on Bottle Bay Road between Highway 95 and Lignite or put up another famous yellow sign stating “very bumpy road ahead.” Honestly, it is like driving on a washboard.
