Weekend's Events kick off fall fun with a blast
SANDPOINT — As we crest this last wave of summer (cue sad music), the view from Sept. 1 looks pretty reassuring. Yes, Labor Day Weekend is here and the start of school is upon us, but just check out all the happenings this week. What a way to turn the page!
First off, it’s Fall Fest at Schweitzer with ample brews and bands to go around, plus great kids’ activities. Then get ready — it’s Funky Junk time, baby! Be there this weekend at the fairgrounds. The Panida lands the new Meryl Streep/Hugh Grant comedy starting tonight, the Powell Bros. play Summer Sounds downtown on Saturday and the live music in local venues hasn’t let up one bit.
