Cody A. Gallagher, 19, of Athol, was arrested in the 700 block of Church Street in Sandpoint at 10:43 p.m. on a charge od driving under the influence.

Sept. 1
Christen Lee Leen, 32, was arrested at 1:19 a.m. on N. Boyer Road on an outstanding Kootenai County warrant for failure to appear on/vehicle insurance and fail to provide proof of insurance.
SANDPOINT POLICE
Aug. 31
An officer was unable to locate a reported reckless driver (speeding) in the 500 block of Euclid Avenue at 8:17 a.m.
Sidewalk in front of a business in the 100 block of Church Street was reported defaced with chalk at 9:02 a.m.
A security light was damaged in the 700 block of Church Street at 12:17 p.m.
A cellphone found in the Bridge Street area was turned in to the police department at 1:08 p.m.
Gary W. Rust, 54, of Sagle was arrested on a misdemeanor bench warrant on N. Fourth Avenue at 1:22 p.m.
A Sandpoint officer assisted the county on a warrant arrest at the courthouse on S. First Avenue at 2 p.m.
A case was assigned to cover an attempt to locate a wanted subject from Kootenai County in the Cocolalla area at 1:55 p.m.
After possible suicide threats were reported in the 4000 block of Samuelson Avenue at 4:45 p.m., officers checked on a male and advised he was not suicidal.
Information was relayed to law enforcement on N. Florence Avenue at 3:24 p.m.
An officer was unable to locate a reported reckless driver on S. Boyer Avenue at 4:57 p.m.
Courtney L. Long, 26, of Sandpoint, was arrested in the 800 block of Church Street at 6:20 p.m. on a charge of domestic battery.
Report of a civil issue in the 11000 block of Baldy Mountain Road at 6:48 p.m.
Alice M. Holt, 64, of Sandpoint was cited on an invalid driver’s license charge at 8:53 p.m. in the area of N. Boyer and Alexander Way.
A follow-up report was taken on N. Florence Avenue at 9:38 p.m.
Unwanted text messages were reported in the 1100 block of N. Division Avenue at 9:56 p.m.
Sandpoint officers assisted the county with an arrest in the 700 block of Church Street at 10:43 p.m.
An officer advised charges are pending on minor in possession of alcohol for a 20-year-old Sandpoint male after a reported probation violation on Church Street at 11:56 p.m.
A Sandpoint officer assisted Ponderay Police on a call on Fontaine Drive at 10:59 p.m.
