MickDuff's Brewing Co. named top business

SANDPOINT —The Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce has selected MickDuff’s Brewing Company as August’s Business of the Month.
The chamber recognizes MickDuff’s for its commitment to providing high quality service to clients as well as our community. MickDuff’s is deeply rooted in the community and its generous contribution to local non-profits does not go unrecognized.
MickDuff’s Brewing Company was established in early 2006 by brothers Mickey and Duffy Mahoney. Their efforts have resulted in a family-friendly restaurant combined with an acclaimed micro-brewery focused on brewing well-balanced and all-natural beer. MickDuff’s has been recognized as the best Irish pub in Idaho by Buzzfeed.
MickDuff’s distributes five year-round core beers: Blonde, Irish Redhead, Lake Paddler Pale Ale, NOHO Imperial IPA and Knot Tree Porter, as well as many limited edition seasonals like their Mashing Pumpkin, Wet Hop IPA and Imperial Bourbon Stout.
“We are a brewpub and family restaurant first and more recently have been growing into a locally distributed production brewery with the addition of our beer hall and brewery tasting room,” said Duffy Mahoney. The beer hall has an easy going atmosphere with a pool table, foosball, dart boards, giant jenga and more. Thanks to new legislation, minors are now allowed if they are accompanied by their guardian of legal drinking age.
This fall, MickDuff’s Beer Hall is teaming up with KPND for Monday Night Football Parties during the NFL season with Bob Witte and Bistro at Home. With vall on the horizon, MickDuff’s Hoptoberfest on October 1st will feature their Mashing Pumpkin Ale, Wet Hop IPA and a few other seasonal beers. MickDuff’s Brewpub hosts Trivia Tuesdays every week and the Beer Hall has live music every Friday and Saturday night.
