Women's volleyball league now taking registrations

SANDPOINT — Another exciting season of Sandpoint Parks and Rec Women’s Volleyball League is almost upon us, but the registration deadline is Friday, Sept. 9, so act fast. Rosters are now available at the Parks & Recreation Department (1123 Lake St.) and online at “www.teamsideline.com/sandpoint.”

To register, turn in a $20 registration fee (applied to players fees) and your completed team roster to Parks & Rec. by Friday, Sept. 9. The league is limited to the first 24 teams to register.

Play dates start Monday and Tuesday, Oct.3 and 4 and will run through Dec. 12 and 13. Play will be split into A-1 and A-2 on Monday nights and A-3 and A-4 on Tuesday night.

All sponsor and players fees are due at the mandatory captains’ meeting on Thursday, Sept. 22 at 5:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers. Sponsor fee is $225 and Players’ fee is $250, for a total of $475/team.
