Legal Notice Bonner County Waterways Advisory Committee The Board of Bonner County Commissioners is calling for letters of interest from persons interested in serving on the Waterways Advisory Committee to make recommendations to the Board of Commissioners regarding waterways, parks & recreation facilities and activities. There is one (1) seat available for this Advisory Committee. The Board of Commissioners are looking for residents from Bonner County; preferably from the Garfield Bay peninsula area and secondly an at-large resident will be considered. The terms of commitment will be for two (2) years. The committee meets once a month on the third (3rd) Thursday at the Bonner County Administration Building. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby provided that a public hearing pursuant to Idaho Code Title 67, Chapter 65 and Dover City Code has been set for the Dover Planning and Zoning Commission on SEPTEMBER 22, 2016 AT 5:30 P.M. at Dover City Hall, 699 Lakeshore Ave., Dover, to consider recommendations to the City Council for the following: File #AM01-15 Amendment to Zoning Regulations: The City of Dover has initiated an amendment to its zoning regulations (proposed Title 12). The purpose of the amendment is to reorganize and consolidate various zoning codes in preparation for codification of city code. The proposed amendment would also correct minor errors, provide procedures for city actions, and create new provisions. Included in the proposed amendment are the following: A purpose statement; clarification of authority to enforce zoning laws, incorporation of Area of City Impact and Planning & Zoning Commission ordinances with minor changes; repeal of River Corridor and Highway Corridor overlays; addition of non-conforming use standards; increase of residential building height to 30 feet maximum; addition of allowances and standards for accessory dwelling units and second homes; revisions to home occupation standards; updates to application process; provisions for new sign definitions and standards; restoration of planned unit development section; addition of new definitions for accessory dwelling units; building front and side; habitable space; home occupation; non-conforming structure and use; owner occupancy; sign; street flanking; special use; and zoning permit. The Dover Planning & Zoning Commission at its September 1, 2016 public hearing unanimously recommended approval of this ordinance as written. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend the hearing or provide written response. Any written comment greater than 1 page must be submitted at least 6 days prior to the meeting. Written material not exceeding 1 page may be read into the record the day of the hearing. Public wishing to speak at the hearing may do so in compliance with the public hearing resolution, a copy of which is located at City Hall.
