Columbia Bank sets 'shred fest'

SANDPOINT — Columbia Bank and DeVries Business Services are hosting a community-wide “shred fest” on Oct. 1.

The event will take place from 9 a.m.-noon at the bank’s Sandpoint branch, 414 Church St.

There is no charge and participants can shred up to three boxes per person.

However, there can be no stiff metal, plastic bags, DVDs or other items that will jam the shredder.
