We recently purchased a steel structure from a local distributor. The crew was scheduled to arrive mid-day to deliver and assemble the structure but due to delays at prior jobs, they did not arrive until after dark. They left the trailer with building supplies and tools at our home and said they would be back first thing in the morning to begin construction. They were beat from a long day and just wanted a good night’s rest.

Upon checking out of the motel in Ponderay where they spent the night, they discovered that their truck had been vandalized. Someone had “keyed” their rig. These gentlemen had worked all day, were behind and still had two more jobs to complete in this area (after ours) before going home. What should have been a great experience in our wonderful community turned into a very bad experience for them. I hate that they will take this experience back home with them.

I know that the types of people who do these sorts of things do not read newspapers nor concern themselves with the consequences of their actions however, I just want to say how appalled I am that this happened. Appalled.
