NAMI announces monthly meeting

SANDPOINT — ACLU Idaho representative Kathy Griesmyer will speak on Wednesday, Sept. 21, at the NAMI Far North (National Alliance on Mental Illness) monthly meeting, 5:30 p.m. in the old Bonner General Health classroom, 520 N. Third Ave.

A discussion will center around legal resources currently in Idaho communities, recourse for those with limited mental health treatment options, and current Idaho legislation in progress.

Afterward will be refreshments, and then support groups: one for those with mental illness, and the other for those who care about them.
