—Courtesy photo Three local Jiu Jitsu gyms from Bonners Ferry, Coeur d’Alene and Sandpoint converged recently at Sandpoint City Beach for the Jiu Jitsu On The Beach event, which was free and open for anyone with Jiu Jitsu experience. Jiu Jitsu is a martial art, combat sport system that focuses on grappling and especially ground fighting. North Idaho Jiu Jitsu (Sandpoint), Citadel MMA (Coeur d’Alene) and Bonners Ferry Brazilian Jiu Jitsu were on hand to participate.
