Churches hosting freedom festival

Residents from the three northern counties of Idaho will gather at Bonner County Fairgrounds all day on Saturday, Sept. 17, on Constitution Day to hear nationally and locally known church and civic leaders.

The theme is “Revitalizing America’s Patriotic Christian Heritage.” Rick Green of Wallbuilders Live national radio program, who works regularly with David Barton, will be speaking about Christian heritage and the Founding Fathers. Jenna Ellis, Esq. will share on the legal basis for a moral constitution. A number of others will speak from the 8 a.m. opening throughout the day. At 7 p.m., the hit Christian country group Red Roots from Nashville, Tenn., will perform live in concert. Food vendors will be available throughout.
