HARRISON FLATS — Brooke Stevens had 15 assists and Allison Warner four kills, but the Wampus Cats could never seem to get momentum, falling 25-18, 25-18, 25-16 to the Warriors in North Star League volleyball action Thursday at Kootenai High School.

Sarah Holderman, Ali Sutton and Hailey Bristol each had three kills, Emily Garman added 10 digs and Nona Young three aces in defeat for the Wampus Cats (2-2, 1-1 NSL).

“We just didn’t come prepared to play and never got our offense going,” described Cats head coach Cindy Derr. “Kootenai did a good job tipping over the block and tipping deep line, and we never adjusted.”

Clark Fork travels to Bonners Ferry for a Tri-Match with the host Badgers and Stillwater on Saturday. It was supposed to be an eight team tournament, but changed recently.
