Sept. 14

After an alarm was reported in the 400 block of Pine Street at 6:02 a.m., officers advised the building was secure.

An officer removed a rolled-up flag from the lane of travel on the Long Bridge at 7:23 a.m.

A child’s bike found on Pine Street was brought to the police department at 8:57 a.m.

Accidental 911 activation was reported on Olive Avenue at 9:53 a.m.

A vehicle in the 1500 block of Highway 2 was issued a citation at 12:36 p.m. for parking in a handicapped space with no placard.

An elderly male called 911 to verify his address in the Birch Street area at 12 p.m.

After a report of disorderly conduct at 1:39 p.m., a large group of juveniles left the area when officers in the 1300 block of Highway 2. The instigator was lectured by the officer and sent on his way.

Report of fraud in the 200 block of Mays Road in Sagle at 1:45 p.m.

An attempted vehicle theft was reported in the 1100 block of Michigan at 3:20 p.m.

A pink beach cruiser was reported taken from the 200 block of Church Street at 4:19 p.m.

After a report of suicide threats at 4:22 p.m., an officer and EMS checked on an elderly male in the 600 block of Main Street and advised he was OK.

A case was assigned to cover a report of urinating/defecating in public in the city at 4:43 p.m.

An officer was unable to locate a male reported to be urinating in the bushes in the 400 block of S. Division Avenue at 4:43 p.m.

An officer was unable to locate the source of a 911 hang-up call in the Ontario Street area at 5:24 p.m.

An officer responded to a reckless driver complaint in the 478000 block of Highway 95 at 7:41 p.m.

Joseph R Deveney, 27, of Sandpoint, was arrested in the 1100 block of Hickory Street at 7:52 p.m. on charges of grand theft, battery and assault on family members.

After a welfare check request at 8:40 p.m., an officer checked on residents in the 300 block of Huron and advised they were fine.

An adult male from Renton, Wash., was placed on a detox hold in the 200 block of Church Street after a report of an intoxicated subject at 10:39 p.m.

A female was transported to BGH for treatment after a report of suicide threats at 11:36 p.m.

Sept. 14

An officer assisted Sandpoint Police in the 400 block of Pine Street at 6:02 a.m.

An officer responded to an alarm reported on Vermeer Drive at 7:51 a.m.

George Rigby, 27, of Kootenai was arrested on an outstanding Bonner County warrant in the 476000 block of Highway 95 at 12:41 p.m.

An animal problem was reported on Highway 95 at 2:21 p.m.

Tim E. Evans, 20, of Rathdrum was cited on a charge of inattentive driving following a crash in the 500 block of Kootenai

Cutoff Road at 3:36 p.m.

An officer responded to assist Sandpoint Police at the scene of a fight in the 1100 block of Hickory Street at 7:52 p.m.

An officer responded to a report of theft in the 300 block of Bonner Mall Way at 11:08 p.m.
