CASA uncorked

| September 18, 2016 1:00 AM

COEUR d’ALENE — CASA's biggest fundraiser of the year is coming in early October.

The fourth annual North Idaho CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) Uncorked event will take place Oct. 6 from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Hagadone Event Center.

The event will include appetizers, premium wines and beverages, raffles, silent and live auctions and more. Guests will have opportunities to participate in a 50/50 raffle with a grand prize as high as $2,250, bid on wine trees and win an expensive wine tree in a high-low raffle.

The event will also include growler and sipping trees. Live music will be provided by North Point featuring classical pianist Barry Aitken.

All proceeds will benefit CASA, a nonprofit that recruits, trains and supports a network of dedicated guardian ad litem volunteers who represent abused and neglected children in Kootenai, Shoshone, Benewah, Bonner and Boundary counties. CASA presently advocates for more than 400 abused and neglected children in the community.

Tickets to CASA Uncorked are $75 through Wednesday and will increase to $100 on Thursday. Tickets are available on CASA's website, www.northidahocasa.com.

Those who are interested in participating but cannot attend the event can still participate by donating a ticket to cover a CASA staff member or volunteer for $50, becoming an event sponsor, donating to the live or silent auctions, sponsoring a wine, growler or sipping tree or making a donation to North Idaho CASA.

The Hagadone Event Center is located at 900 S. Floating Green Drive in Coeur d'Alene.
