Sept. 16
Report of a family offense in the 3500 block of Highway 2 in Priest River at 12:05 a.m.
Jedidiah M. Heath 26, of Careywood was arrested in the Fifth Avenue area at 12:22 a.m. n an outstanding warrant, and on charges of driving without privileges and second offense failing to provide current proof of liability insurance.
SANDPOINT POLICE
Sept. 15
An officer was unable to locate a vehicle that went around a bus stopped for the railroad crossing on N. Division Avenue at 6:23 a.m.
A follow-up report was taken in the Highway 2 area at 8:31 a.m.
A case was assigned to cover a report of driving without privileges in the area of Sixth and Larch at 9:15 a.m.
Suspicious circumstances were reported on Oak Street at 9:11 a.m.
Andrew G. Cook, 20, of Sagle was cited on a charge of driving without privileges in the area of S. Division Avenue and Michigan Street at 9:32 a.m.
An officer was unable to locate a driver on a cellphone, who almost hit a construction flagger in the Schweitzer Cutoff Road area at 12:47 p.m.
Accidental 911 activation was reported on Pine Street at 3:46 p.m.
Report of a two-vehicle, non-injury collision in the area of First Avenue and Main Street at 4:02 p.m.
Accidental 911 activation was reported on W. Lake Street at 4:29 p.m.
Officers were unable to locate the source of a 911 hang-up call in the 100 block of Pine Street at 5:12 p.m.; the business was closed for the day.
An officer checked on what was reported to be an unattended child in the 800 block of Pine Street at 5:38 p.m. and advised the mother was there with the child.
An officer answered a citizen’s questions in the 1500 block of Hemlock Court at 7:54 p.m. regarding a child custody issue.
An officer contacted a resident in the 600 block of S. Division Avenue at 8:59 p.m. and advised the claims of a mental health problem were unsubstantiated.
An officer was unable to locate a reported suspicious vehicle in the 2200 block of Pine Street at 9:30 p.m.
Two intoxicated males got into a verbal altercation over politics in the area of Ponderosa Drive and Kinnikinnik Avenue at 9:59 p.m. No charges were pressed.
An officer assisted a citizen at Bonner General Health in the 500 block of N. Third Avenue at 11:03 p.m.
Sept. 16
Officers were unable to locate a male, who was reported to be playing chicken with a train in the area of Ebbett Way and N. Boyer Avenue at 1:59 a.m.

Sept. 15
An officer responded to an alarm in the 476900 block of Highway 95 at 6:30 a.m.
Officer received a call of a 911 hang-up in the 476900 block of Highway 95 at 9:33 a.m.
Shoplifting was reported on Highway 95 at 1:23 p.m.
Staci A. Spence, 44, of Sandpoint was arrested on an outstanding warrant in the 30400 block of Highway 200 in Ponderay at 3:12 p.m.
A small barbecue fire was extinguished shortly after law enforcement arrived in the area of Pine Street and S. Division Avenue at 3:18 p.m.; no further assistance was needed
An officer responded to a welfare check in the 476900 block of US 95 at 4:15 p.m.
