Model UN students holding fundraiser

SANDPOINT — Sandpoint High School students are seeking the community’s help to travel to New York City in March 2017 to attend Model United Nations where they will meet with others students from around the world to discuss global topics.

On Saturday, Sept. 24, 6-9 p.m. for a silent auction at the Columbia Bank building and taste the delicious international food provided by Tango Cafe. Admission is $25 for 1 or $40 for two. Tickets will be available at the door. Students will be dressed in international attire and each student will give a brief speech about the country they have chosen to represent.
