SANDPOINT POLICE
Sept. 20
A vehicle window was broken out in the 400 block of S. Division Avenue at 8:07 a.m.
Officers contacted residents in the 2000 block of Winchester Way due to concerns from the Waldorf School at 9:54 a.m.
A wallet was reported taken in the 400 block of Church Street at 10:21 a.m.
A juvenile was cited in the 400 block of S. Division Avenue at 10:39 a.m. on a charge of possession of tobacco.
An investigation was opened at the police department in the 1100 block of W. Lake Street at 12:45 p.m. at the request of an outside agency.
Jake M. Sullivan, 19, of Sandpoint, was arrested in the 300 block of Olive Avenue at 2:15 p.m. and charged with eight counts of violating a no-contact order.
After a reported traffic hazard in the area of Fifth Avenue and Larch Street at 2:25 p.m., an officer advised the Thetraffic signal was functioning normally upon arrival.
Officers advised they were unable to locate a male in the area of First Avenue and Bridge Street yelling and screaming at passersby and exposing himself at 2:39 p.m.
After a welfare check at 3:05 p.m., officers and EMS personnel checked on a female in the 300 block of Olive Avenue and advised she was okay.
A disorderly male had already left the 200 block of Church Street when the officer arrived at 3:05 p.m.
An officer was unable to locate UTL a suspicious male/vehicle in the area of the 700 block of Fifth Avenue at 3:34 p.m.
An officer checked on a reported vehicle fire in the 1100 block of Jefferson Avenue at 3:52 p.m.; it was an equipment malfunction
A male in the Cedar Street area accidentally dialed 911 while trying to get an outside line at 6:47 p.m.
A child playing with a phone in the Bridge Street area activated the emergency button accidentally at 7:48 p.m.
After a report of suspicious circumstances at 10:04 p.m., an officer was unable to locate anything out of the ordinary in the 800 block of Poplar Street.
Devin B Johnson, 26, of Spokane, was cited on a charge of driving without privileges in the 1300 block of Fifth Avenue at 11:03 p.m.
Sept. 21
After an alarm was reported in the 900 block of Highway 2 at 1:55 a.m., officers advised the building was secure.
