Youth volleyball serves up another fun season

SANDPOINT — All area youth in grades 3rd-6th are invited to sign up for another exciting season of Sandpoint Parks and Rec Youth Volleyball, with the registration deadline fast approaching on Monday, Oct. 3.

Play will be split into 3rd/4th grade teams, and 5th/6th grade teams, with practices held once a week and games played on Saturday mornings at Sandpoint Middle School. The league runs from Nov. 5 through Dec. 17, with no play or practice on Thanksgiving week (Nov. 20–26).

The league fees are: One player- $35 county/$30 city; two players- $60 county/$50 city; and three players- $80 county/ $70 city. League jerseys are $14 and mandatory to participate. Partial scholarships are available upon request.

Volunteer coaches are needed. A Coach’s meeting will be held on either Thursday Oct. 13 and Friday Oct. 14 at 5:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 1123 Lake St. All coaches will be contacted.
