Pizza sales to help DayBreak Center

| April 6, 2017 1:00 AM

SANDPOINT — It’s time to throw a pizza party to help families in the community who are caring for a family member with memory impairment.

Papa Murphy’s Pizza in Ponderay and the Sandpoint Area Seniors, Inc., DayBreak Center have teamed up for a fundraiser on Wednesday, April 12, to raise money for the DayBreak Center Scholarship Fund. This fund helps families with the cost of having their family member attend the center’s Adult Day Program, giving caregivers a much needed break and a safe, caring social center for their loved one.

Family caregivers have to balance their need for a break against the $10 per hour cost of the program and often come up short. Community members can help the families out by purchasing a pizza from Papa Murphy’s and showing SASi's fundraising flier or a picture of the flier on your phone or tablet.

Only phone orders and in-store orders count and it is required to show the flier when picking up the pizza. Online orders do not count for this fundraiser.

Information and fliers: SASi, 263-6860, DayBreak Center, 265-8127 or pick one up at SASi, 820 Main St.
