Officers were canceled while en route to an alarm on Baldy Mountain Road at 5:39 a.m.

An officer requested a case for information on W. Lake Street at 9:46 a.m.

A dog owner in the 600 block of Creekside Lane was issued a verbal warning for allowing her dogs to bark at 9:46 a.m.

Attempted phone fraud was reported in the 500 block of N. Boyer Avenue at 10:44 a.m.

An officer checked on a male on the ground in the 1500 block of Spruce Street after a welfare check at 11:25 a.m.; he was taking a nap.

An officer assisted a citizen whose keys were locked inside a running vehicle, along with an infant, on S. Florence Avenue at 11:31 a.m.

An officer responded after a dog attacked another dog on S. Boyer Avenue at 11:36 a.m., knocking the dog owner to the ground.

A traffic signal malfunction in t he area of Highway 2 and S. Boyer Avenue was reported to the street department at 12:20 p.m.

An officer spoke to two juveniles and their father on S. Third Avenue at 1:18 p.m. and advised them not to play basketball in the street.

A follow-up report was taken on Church Street at 1:39 p.m.

An officer spoke to a citizen in the 300 block of Pine Street regarding a civil dispute at 2:11 p.m.

Unfounded report of an attempted assault in the 600 block of S. Division Avenue at 3 p.m.

Officers advised subjects were using tobacco in the 600 block of N. Third Avenue, not illegal substances, after a complaint of a controlled substance at 3:15 p.m.

An officer was unable to locate a reported DUI driver in the area of the 1200 block of Baldy Mountain Road at 4:20 p.m.

A officer located a reported reckless driver for the county in the area of Main and Poplar at 5:10 p.m.

An officer stood by while a female retrieved her belongings from a residence in the 1600 block of Cedar Street at 7:10 p.m. and advised there was no burglary.

An officer was unable to locate the source of a 911 hang-up call on Olive Avenue at 7:33 p.m.

Jesse A Johnson, 29, of Sandpoint, was arrested in the 800 block of Fifth Avenue at 7:56 a.m. on a charge of domestic battery.

Officers contacted a male who was animatedly giving directions, not arguing or fighting, after a report of a family offense of Fifth Avenue at 8:25 p.m.

Fraudulent use of a debit card was reported in the 200 block of Halley Street at 8:15 p.m.

An officer advised no battery occurred after a report at 9:01 p.m.; juveniles were playing a prank in the 1100 block of N. Ella Avenue.
