The Sandpoint Assembly of God is putting on its third annual community Easter egg hunt this Sunday, April 16 at Great Northern Park (located at the North end of Travers Park, right off of Lincoln).

The community event, which starts at 10 a.m., is open to children ages 2-12.

Not only will there be an Easter egg hunt with over 6,000 candy-filled eggs, participants can also win prizes when they find special eggs, get their photos taken with superheroes, listen to live music and much more.

All are welcome. The event is free of charge and will happen rain or shine. In years past, the event has drawn large crowds of over 300 people.

The event is followed by an Easter service at 10:45 a.m. at the Sandpoint Assembly of God, for anyone who is interested.
