April 10

Jazmin Rachelle Hester, 20, of Newport, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol in the 3400 block of Clagstone Road at 1:38 a.m.

Report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Highway 41 and Clagstone Road in Blanchard at 3:31 a.m.

SANDPOINT POLICE

April 9

Racist literature was again distributed around Sandpoint in the N. Lincoln Avenue area at 8:44 a.m.

An officer was unable to locate a dog reported at large in the area of Church and Ella at 8:52 a.m.

A follow-up report was taken on Jefferson Avenue at 10:40 a.m.

A VIN was verified in the 200 block of Ruth Avenue at 11:09 a.m.

The owners of two dogs in the park on S. Ella Avenue were advised at 12:45 p.m. that they needed to keep them on a leash.

An officer checked on a residence in the 500 block of Main Street after a complaint of suspicious circumstances at 2:36 p.m.; it was secure, although some sort of beeping alarm was going off inside.

Officers checked on a male lying in the grass in the Olive Avenue area after a welfare check request at 3 p.m.; he

was fine and did not need EMS or law enforcement assistance.

A follow-up report was taken on Church Street at 5:03 p.m.

A fire in the trees was reported in the 1300 block of Chestnut Street at 5:56 p.m.

An officer contacted a citizen in the 1400 block of Ponderosa Drive at 6:42 p.m. regarding a civil dispute.

After a child custody dispute was reported in the 1200 block of Alder Street at 7:45 p.m., an officer advised nothing physical had occurred. Kendra J Fisher, 24, of Bonners Ferry, was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and paraphernalia.

An officer was unable to locate a suspicious male reported in the 2300 block of Aspen Way at 9:09 p.m.

PONDERAY POLICE

April 9

An officer responded to the 476800 block of Highway 95 in reference to a 911 hang-up at 10:46 a.m.

An officer received a report of suspicious activity occurring in the 800 block of Kootenai Cutoff Road at 11:31 a.m.

An officer conducted a follow-up report in the Highway 95 area by phone at 1 p.m.

An officer responded to a reckless driver complaint in the area of Highway 200 and Eastgate Drive at 6:08 p.m.
