We can't even turn on our TV without hearing about all the violence, shootings, Trump issues, domestic violence, health issues, etc. Our problems with conflicts is that one goes into situations with their own perspectives and beliefs. One is more focused on getting their point across than seeking to understand another person.

If we're all so hung up on ourselves, speak up. Uncomfortable conversations about race, class, gays and gun violence. One is trying to fix it in a day. It's going to take a lot longer to be fixed through real organic, engaging relationships and being intentional about it. That's how perspectives change.

There's no shortage of bad news, but people need to feel a sense of hope. If we all thought, "I'm just one person and I can make a difference," so much would be done.
