Scholarship deadline extended

The Angels Over Sandpoint, in collaboration with The Festival at Sandpoint, are offering an arts scholarship, open to any high school student in Bonner County, including home schooled students.

This annual scholarship rotates each year between vocal, writing, visual arts and dance/theater. This year’s focus is on vocal arts. The scholarship will be awarded at The Festival at Sandpoint’s Family Concert in August, and the winning student will have an opportunity to sing at that concert. The Angels Over Sandpoint will be awarding $1,500. The application deadline has been extended to Friday, April 28.

Applications are available for Lake Pend Oreille School District students on the Sandpoint High School website — http://sh.lposd.org/counseling-career-center/scholarship/local-scholarships. Completed applications must be submitted by April 28. Applicant finalists will be contacted in May to schedule a vocal audition with the Angels/Festival scholarship committee.
