April 12

An officer checked on a male, who was reported to be standing in the middle of the roadway in the area of S. Division and Ontario at 7:28 a.m.; he was off the road and safe.

A reportedly missing person returned home to the 600 block of W. Superior at 7:49 a.m. before the officer arrived.

A battery investigation in the 700 block of Highway 2 was opened by an officer at 8:58 a.m.

Possible suicide threats were reported on S. Division Avenue at 9:27 a.m

An attempted telephone scam was reported in the 2800 block of N. Boyer Avenue at 9:20 a.m.

A Sandpoint officer located a vehicle for the county in the city at 11:28 a.m. and then turned the stop over to them.

A boat in the 300 block of Lavina Avenue was reported damaged by renters at 11:49 a.m.

Accidental 911 activation was reported on Fifth Avenue at 12:23 p.m.

Both parties involved in a physical altercation had left the area when the officer arrived in the 700 block of Fifth Avenue after a report of disorderly conduct at 1:43 p.m.

An attempted telephone scam was reported in the 700 block of Fifth Avenue at 1:56 p.m.

An intoxicated male was taken on a detox hold in the 600 block of N. Boyer Avenue after he was medically cleared at 2:55 p.m.

An officer was unable to locate a reported a reckless driver in the area of Cedar Street and N. Boyer Avenue at 4:03 p.m.

A male was sighted on Larch Street but was no longer of any interest to law enforcement at 4:07 p.m.

A male working on a vehicle in the 1300 block of W. Superior Street at 4:55 p.m. had accidentally locked the keys inside.

A vehicle playing loud music in the 500 block of Fifth Avenue at 5:07 p.m. was gone when the officer arrived.

Possible threats were reported in the 1100 block of N. Division Avenue at 6:40 p.m.

Adam Little, 18, of Sandpoint was arrested on Baldy Mountain Road at 10:37 p.m. on a charge of driving under the influence (first offense).

PONDERAY POLICE

April 12

An officer located a distraught female in Ponderay and advised she was fine at 9:27 a.m.

An officer took an information call in the 476700 block of Highway 95 at 12:25 p.m.

Vandalism was reported in the 400 block of Dalby Drive at 2:42 p.m.

An officer took a report of an assault in the 400 block of Dalby Drive at 7:16 p.m.
