Limits remain on some county roads

SANDPOINT — Weight limits are in effect for some county roads. No early morning hauling is allowed on any Bonner County maintained road posted with weight limits.

District 1 (south of the Long Bridge) — All roads west of Highway 95 are lifted from weight restrictions except for Merrill Martin, Curtis Creek, Hoo Doo Mountain, Beare, Jewell Lake, Schneiders, and Whittum roads; as well as all roads east of Highway 95.

District 2 (Priest River/Priest Lake) — All roads are posted with weight limits except for Hoo Doo Loop, Freeman Lake, Holly Glenn, Bodie Canyon, E. Settlement, Old Priest River, Eastside (to Sanborn Creek), and Dufort (west of Spirit Lake Cutoff).

District 3 (Sandpoint/Clark Fork) — All roads are lifted from weight restrictions except for the following; Rapid Lightning, all Center Valley roads, Forest Siding, Selkirk, Upper Gold Creek, Upper Pack River, N. Boyer (north of W. Bronx), and River Road (east of Twin Creek.

Per Bonner County ordinance, it is the responsibility of the hauler to contact the Road & Bridge Department to determine whether or not these restrictions are in place.
