April 13

A burglary was reported on N. Ella Avenue at 10:37 a.m.

Suspicious circumstances were reported on Main Street at 12:41 p.m.

Possible fraud was reported on N. Florence Avenue at 1:52 p.m.

Speed patrols were requested in the 200 block of Cedar at 2:43 p.m.

An officer responded after a report that an Alzheimer’s patient hit another patient in the 600 block of S. Division at 3:01 p.m.; no one was hurt.

A 15-year-old Sandpoint male was arrested in the 1200 block of Main Street at 3:55 p.m. on charges of possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.

A bicyclist crashed her bike on the railroad tracks at 6:33 p.m.; EMS was called and no vehicles were involved.

Information regarding a traffic stop was filed for probation in the area of Fir Street and Forest Avenue at 9:16 p.m.

A male reported walking around a building in the 300 block of S. Division Avenue at 10:24 p.m. with a flashlight turned out to be an employee.

Dava C. Thomas, 73, of Sandpoint, was arrested in the area of Main Street and Forest Avenue at 10:33 p.m. was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence.

April 14

After a DUI investigation in the area of First and Superior at 12:42 a.m., the driver was released without charges at 12:42 a.m.

Officers were unable to locate a suspicious male on a bicycle in the 1500 block of N. Boyer Avenue at 2:28 a.m.

An officer responded to a reported theft in the 476900 block of Highway 95 at 11:41 a.m.

An officer responded to a report of drug activity in the 477300 block of Highway 95 at 10:56 a.m.

An officer responded to a 911 call in the 476900 block of Highway 95 at 12:56 p.m.

An officer responded to a report of fraud in the 500 block of Kootenai Cutoff Road at 1:28 p.m.

An officer responded to a report of theft in the 476900 block of Highway 95 at 2:01 p.m.

A follow-up report was taken in the area of Highway 95 and Triangle Drive at 10:56 p.m.

A fake $20 bill was found on Mckinley Street and turned into police at 3:42 p.m.

Vandalism was reported on E. Lincoln Avenue at 4:49 p.m.

Teenagers playing near Merritt Bridge in the area of Wisconsin and Dufort were told to stay safe and be careful after a welfare check request at 6:07 p.m.
