Peggy Ann Daniels, 65

Peggy Ann Daniels, 65, of Pocatello, Idaho, passed away April 16, 2017, at Safe Haven Care Center in Pocatello.

Peggy was born Nov. 28, 1951, in Carson City, Nev., to George and Cherie Beach. She was one of 12 children.

As a child Peggy moved with her family to the Sacramento, California area. There she married John Baidenmann at the age of 16. Together they had two children, Cherie and John. John Sr. later passed away due to natural causes.

Peggy then married Robert W. Grandstaff Sr. and they had one son, Robert W. Grandstaff Jr. Together, they moved to North Idaho settling in the Cocolalla area. They were later divorced. Peggy went on to marry three more times.

Peggy eventually owned and operated her own logging business with one of her husbands, Ron Pratt, until a disability forced her to stop working.

She loved the outdoors, taking walks and just spending time in the wilderness.

She was also an animal lover, and was known to take in stray cats, as well as breed and sell AKC registered Rottweiler dogs.

Although, Peggy had a difficult childhood, she loved her immediate family and friends, and she always made sure her children had a warm home, clean clothes, and three home-cooked meals a day.

Peggy is survived by three children, Cherie Baidenmann-Haught of Arizona, John Baidenmann of Washington, and Robert W. Grandstaff Jr. of Post Falls, Idaho. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Jessica, Michael, William, Gabrielle, Robert III, Cassie, Ashley, Cassondra, Kristeena, and Angela. She is further survived by six great-grandchildren.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents.

A celebration of Peggy’s life will be held Saturday April 29, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Bell Tower Funeral Home, 3398 E. Jenalan Ave., Post Falls, ID 83854.
