Lois Hall, 91, passed away in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2017, at the United Methodist Church, 711 W. Main St., Sandpoint. A reception will follow.

Lois was born in Conrad, Mont., on June 15, 1925, the daughter of Presley and Violet Vaught. In 1935, the family moved to Trout Creek, Mont., and Lois attended Thompson Falls schools, graduating from Noxon High School in 1944.

On Jan. 6, 1945, she married Bill Hall in Bottineau, N.D. The family established, and operated, the Cedar Grove Grade A Dairy on Highway 200 east of Sandpoint, Idaho, until 1984.

Lois was a longtime member of the Sandpoint United Methodist Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Oden Busy Bees and Chatter Bees and the Thimble Club. She had served as a senior companion for 10 years and worked at the Bonner General Health cafeteria for 12 years. She enjoyed quilting, creating afghans and crocheting.

She is survived by her son, Warren Hall; a daughter-in-law, Connie Hall; a grandson, Kelly Hall; and four great-grandchildren, Hannah, Kenly, Zane, and Zoey. Also surviving are her three sisters, Leona Irish, Alice Wilson, and Jeannette Wigal; along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Hall; her son, Ken Hall; a grandson, Tony Hall; and her three brothers, Harold, Wilbur and Wayne.
