POAC presents MCT's unusual take on 'Gulliver's Travels'

| April 27, 2017 1:00 AM

With his spaceship wrecked and his trusty computer on the fritz, brave explorer Gulliver finds himself lost in space. While transporting from world to world, Gulliver discovers fighting aliens, foolish Yahoos, robots and more — all who need just as much help from Gulliver as Gulliver needs from them!

This may not sound like the Jonathan Swift version of the classic children’s story, but, like the original, it’s bound to take you to a fantastic place you’ve never seen before.

Missoula Children’s Theatre staff and dozens of local wannabe thespians are rehearsing daily for this musical extravaganza. Pend Oreille Arts Council presents two performances on Saturday, April 29, at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. at the Panida.

Tickets are on sale now at the POAC Office, Eve’s Leaves, Winter Ridge, online at artinsandpoint.org and at the Panida box office a half hour before each performance. Tickets are $10 adults, or $5 for children 18 and under.
