Janice A. Perrodin, 66

Janice A. Perrodin, 66, passed away in Sandpoint, Idaho, on Friday, Sept. 30, 2016.

Memorial services will be held May 6, 2017, at the Old Dover Community Hall from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a potluck luncheon to follow. Donations would be greatly appreciated to go to the purchase of a headstone for Janice.

Janice was born on June 4, 1950, in Sandpoint, Idaho, the daughter of Kenneth and Doris Evans.

She would attend local schools and graduated from Sand-point High School in 1968. After high school, she would enlist into the U.S. Navy in November 1968.

She would meet and marry Teddy Perrodin while in the military in 1969 in Maryland.

After Teddy’s retirement from the military they would move to Breaux Bridge, La. She worked as a dental hygienist for a local dentist.

Janice loved being a mother homemaker and tending for her horses and everything smaller on the property. She loved domestic animals along with wildlife. She enjoyed photography and always assisted family and friends in their time of need.

She is survived by her sisters, Judith (Jim) Carroll of Florida, and JoJean Dillon of Sandpoint; a brother, Wayne (Kim) Evans of Vancouver, Wash.; along with nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Teddy; and her son, Jason Perrodin.
