Rodeo rumbles into town tonight

SANDPOINT — The 2017 Bonner County Rodeo hits town this weekend, with two nights of action Friday and Saturday including steer wrestling, bareback, team roping, bull riding, tie-down roping, saddle bronc and barrel racing among the fun events.

Gates open tonight at 6 p.m. at the Bonner County Fairgrounds, with Grand Entry starting at 6:45 p.m. and the rodeo at 7 p.m.

There will also be a live radio interview with Barrel Man and rodeo clown J.J. Harrison, Bonner County Rodeo president Jimmy Cornelius and radio announcer Al Parsons at 9:15 a.m. today on 102.5 FM.
