Harold Woodson Cunningham, 85

Harold Woodson Cunningham, 85, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 6, 201,7 in Sandpoint.

Harold was born on Sept. 20, 1931, in San Jose, Calif., to Frank and Anastasia Cunningham. He graduated from Los Gatos High School before entering the United States Air Force.

He served during the Korean War and was trained as an airplane mechanic.

Harold married Judy Fantzreb on June 27, 1959, in Cathedral City, Calif. They raised their family in Los Gatos where he owned and operated Cunningham’s Auto Service. He was active in the Santa Clara Valley Model-T Ford Club.

After retiring in 1992, Harold and Judy moved to Sandpoint, Idaho. Here they owned the Sleep’s Cabins on Lakeshore Drive and the Alpine RV Park in Sagle, Idaho. They were also active in the North Idaho Rainbow Chasers RV Club. He enjoyed traveling in his RV, mowing the lawn, bluegrass music, old cars, and tinkering.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Cunningham of Sagle; two daughters, Charann (Ken) Briot of Eugene, Ore., and Kelly (Wayne) Burton of Hayden, Idaho; a son, Warren Cunningham of Sagle; three grandchildren, Jacob and Jamie Raquet and Reilly Burton; and a great-granddaughter, Henli Raquet.
