PRIEST RIVER — A motorist was injured last Wednesday after being ejected from his vehicle during a crash on Highway 57 in the Lamb Creek area.
Idaho State Police said the unidentified minor was headed southbound when he failed to negotiate a left-hand curve near milepost 26 shortly after noon. The 2005 Chevrolet Classic he was driving collided with an embankment, remounted the highway and ejected the minor.
The minor was not wearing seat belts, according to Idaho State Police. He was taken to Newport Medical Center and the highway was blocked for approximately an hour. Bonner County Sheriff’s deputies and Priest River Police also responded to the crash, state police said.
