(Photo courtesy ROGER and CAROL STOUGHTON) Roger and Carol Stoughton of Hope recently submitted this Best Shot of their “neighbors.” “We are summer residents,” they wrote in an email. “Last summer I built a robin nest box from a woodworkers catalog plan. We mounted it (in September before we headed south) on the side of our cottage, above the deck, and below the roof overhang as directed. We returned in July this summer and were anxious to see if the nest box had been used. Surprise! Momma robin had a creative new idea!”
