Wyatt Needs, 22, of Oldtown was arrested in the area of East River and Substation Cutoff roads in Priest River at 12 a.m. on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with an open container.

July 30
A follow-up report was taken on E. Lake Street at 6:24 a.m.
An officer advised law enforcement assistance was no longer needed at 9:02 a.m. after a report of trespassing in the 700 block of Fifth Avenue.
Report of a 911 pocket dial on N. First Avenue at 11:07 a.m.
A wetsuit found in the are of Fourth and Church was turned in as found property at 11:48 a.m.
The owners of two vehicles parked in reserved spaces at City Beach were contacted at 12:49 p.m. and advised to move them.
An officer contacted a citizen in the 300 block of N. First Avenue at 1:56 p.m. who wanted to report possible harassment.
Accidental 911 activation was reported on N. Second Avenue at 2:01 p.m.
A small sinkhole was reported in the 100 block of E. Lake Street at 2:22 p.m.; city crews set up barricades.
An officer was unable to locate a reported reckless driver in the 100 block of S. First Avenue at 5:32 p.m.
Brandon J. Buck, 28, of Sandpoint, was arrested at 10:30 p.m. in the 1100 block on two Bonner County warrants, and was also charged with possession of paraphernalia.
July 31
A male was given a verbal warning to quiet down and quit disturbing the neighbors after a complaint at 12:05 a.m.

An officer responded to a complaint of animal cruelty in the 476900 block of Highway 95 at 1:50 p.m.
Disorderly conduct was reported on Bonner Mall Way at 2:39 p.m.
Shoplifting was reported on Highway 95 at 2:57 p.m.
