SASi sets POAC fair food booth

Sandpoint Area Seniors are once again cooking up a storm at the POAC Arts and Crafts Fair at the City Beach this weekend.

The SASi booth will feature hotdogs and more for $5 per plate.

The fair is taking place Saturday, Aug. 12, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 13, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. The SASi booth will be located in the food court. Proceeds will help sustain the center’s meals programs (both in-house and home delivered) and its adult day care program at the DayBreak Center.

In addition, SASi has launched a raffle for a local “Staycation” opportunit — or winners can provide housing for out-of-town guests!

Pend Oreille Shores Resort has donated a seven-night stay lodging in a one-bedroom condominium unit for a raffle to benefit SASi’s vital services! The condo can be redeemed during the months of October through May excluding holidays and based on availability. The offer is good through May 2018. Tickets are on now on sale for $5 each or 5 for $20 at the senior center and will also be available at the SASi hot dog booth this weekend at the POAC Arts and Crafts Fair!

The drawing for the raffle will be at the Avista Energy Fair at the senior center on Thursday, Sept. 28, at 5 p.m.
