A case was assigned to cover a recovered vehicle in the 13000 block of Eastriver Road in Priest River at 1:26 a.m.
A suspicious circumstance was reported in the 470000 block of Highway 95 at 3:47 a.m.

Aug. 8
After a 911 hang-up in the 1500 block of Autumn Lane at 6:26 a.m., an officer checked the area and advised no problems were noted.
David P. Gilligan, 46, no permanent address, was arrested under the bypass on a Boundary County warrant at 8:37 a.m.
Brian D. Gilbert, 44, of Sandpoint, was arrested in the 300 block of Lavina Avenue at 10:01 a.m. on charges of domestic battery, false imprisonment and 911 interference.
Report of a 911 pocket dial on N. Boyer Road at 9:55 a.m.
An officer assisted another agency on W. Lake Street at 10:28 a.m.
A follow-up report was taken on Cedar Street at 10:02 a.m.
An officer was unable to locate two vehicles reported to be driving recklessly in the 400 block of S. Division Avenue at 11:52 a.m.
A follow-up report was taken on N. Division Avenue at 1:17 p.m.
A Sandpoint officer was diverted to another collision while en route to assist at a crash in the area of Highway 95 and Colburn Canyon Road at 2:08 p.m.
Officers handled a two-vehicle, non-injury collision in the 30500 block of Highway 200 in Ponderay at 2:11 p.m.
An officer assisted other units on a collision in the 32100 block of Highway 200 at 1:34 p.m.
An officer advised at 3 p.m. that they were unable to contact a reporting party in a custody dispute as they were out of state.
An officer checked on a small trailer parked in the 1300 block of Westwood Court after a complaint at 2:37 p.m.; it belonged to the tenant there.
Officers responded to a vehicle-versus-bicycle injury crash at the intersection of Larch and Ella at 3:27 p.m. The bicyclist was cited for failing to yield at a posted stop sign.
A kayak was reported found at City Beach on Bridge Street at 3:38 p.m.
A fraudulent check was turned in from the 400 block of N. Second Avenue at 2:12 p.m.
A very minor, non-reportable collision was noted in the area of Fifth and Cedar at 4:48 p.m.
After a bicyclist went over the handlebars of his bicycle in the area of Sixth and Pine; he was transported by EMS at 5:46 p.m.
Calvin C Colvin, 19, of Sandpoint, was cited in the 300 block on a charge of battery at 6:25 p.m. after a physical altercation with another male.
An officer was unable to locate vehicles reported to be driving recklessly in the 1100 block of Larch Street at 7:48 p.m.
A follow-up report was taken on N. Division Avenue at 7:30 p.m.
An officer was unable to locate a female with two small children in the 1400 block of Cedar at 8:07 p.m.; one of the children was reported to have been out in traffic.
A 911 hang-up call on Cedar Street was traced to an address in the county at 9:28 p.m.
Officers checked on a vehicle with an open hatch in the area of Jefferson Avenue and Spruce Street at 10:55 p.m.
