Glaeser receives academic honors
Katie Glaeser has earned a spot of the dean’s list at the University of Idaho.
The Bonner County resident is majoring in exercise science and minoring in Spanish.
Angels announce scholarship award
The Angels Over Sandpoint are pleased to award Anthony Storro, a 2017 graduate of Priest River’s Lamanna High School, the Angels’ Community Service Scholarship.
This yearly scholarship is given to a Bonner County student who has demonstrated leadership in recognizing and addressing needs in their community.
Anthony Storro will receive $1500 for his involvement with the Priest River Athletic Stadium Bleacher Project.
Angels members said they are proud to support the further education of such a hard working young man.
Students named
to GFU dean’s list
Local students are among those who earned dean’s list recognition at George Fox University for the spring 2017 semester.
Traditional undergraduate students must earn a 3.5 grade point average or above on 12 or more hours of graded work to earn a spot on the dean’s list.
Earning a spot on the lsit from the area are: Cody Knight, Sagle, freshman, business administration; Emma Weme, Sagle, senior, marketing; Joab Logan, Sandpoint, senior, marketing; and Claire Pierce, Sandpoint, sophomore, history and philosophy.
Cohen receives TCNJ degree
The following students from Bonner County graduated from The College of New Jersey on May 18-19, 2017.
Anthony Brian Cohen, of Hope, received a degree from the College Certification Program, Cert/Int’l sch - Teaching ESL.
