District reopens Solo Creek Road

NORDMAN ­— The Priest Lake Ranger District is reopening Forest Service Road 659 to the public.

Commonly known as the Solo Creek Road, the roadway is approximately six miles to the west of the Priest Lake Information Center on Highway 57. The road had been closed for salvage logging activities and road repairs.

There are still a few logging trucks using the road as a haul route. The public is reminded to drive carefully on all forest roads.
