Calvin Ogle’s message about the “California Kids” is spot on. It is called progress but actually Sandpoint has gone backward. People liked the area because of its slower pace and kicked-back atmosphere. The “country” is being taken out of Sandpoint.

What you see now is a tourist trap. Sandpoint is being downgraded to Southern California. City officials need to change policy and quit ruining Sandpoint. The taking away of one-way streets is a good example of taking away Sandpoint’s old-style simplicity.
