Midweek Advent soup suppers and evening prayer are taking place at First Lutheran Church this month on Dec. 6, 13, and 20. Come at 6 p.m. for the comfort of warm soup and fellowship. At 7 p.m., the event moves into the chapel to allow participants to discover the spiritual practice of listening for God’s Word. Our reflection time will include scripture, poetry, and images to stir our discovery of Emmanuel, God with us.

The community is invited to join the congregation onChristmas Eve, Dec. 24: Come and worship at 5 p.m. The candlelight service will be led by spirit sounds and include holy communion as well as the singing of carols which herald the coming of the Savior’s birth.
