UI announces fall graduation date

Graduating students are eligible to receive a combined 618 degrees this December at the University of Idaho fall commencement ceremony. Candidates applied for 436 baccalaureate degrees, 151 master’s degrees, 19 doctoral degrees, five law degrees and seven specialist degrees.

Approximately 599 students statewide are eligible for graduation from U of I this semester.

This fall’s commencement brings the university’s all-time totals to 118,165 graduates and 126,421 degrees.

The fall commencement ceremony will take place at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, in the ASUI-Kibbie Activity Center in Moscow. The commencement speaker is Janet Nelson, vice president for Research and Economic Development at the University of Idaho.

Lineup for commencement begins at 11:30 a.m. Doors open for the public at 11 a.m. General seating in the Kibbie Dome is free and available on a first-come, first-served basis. No tickets are required. Reserved 12-person suites are available through the U of I Ticket Office, via phone at 208-885-7212 or email at tickets@uidaho.edu.
