Church is hosting Festival of Nativity

SANDPOINT — The Festival of the Nativity will take place this weekend and the community is invited. The event is presented by the Church of Latter-day Saints on Highway 2 between Newport and Priest River.

Friday, the event will take place from 5-8 p.m. and on Saturday, the event will take place from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. There is no charge to attend.

At the festival, carolers will fill the halls with joyful sounds, nativities from around the world will be on display and the children’s room will feature nativities and crafts. In addition, there will be a live outdoor nativity on Friday from 5-8 p.m.
